ED JR.
http://edjr-edjr.blogspot.com
Edra Soto, Deborah Boardman, Jeroen Nelemans and Ryan Richey. It is a venture which embraces the creative process explored through painted Yves Klein Blue lines. Their interactions present the body and the artist's hand as both self-referential and anonymous. Floating somewhere between painting and video, their work originates from the most basic element: the line. In both their video and performance events, ED JR improvises non-linear and process-oriented compositions and accidents that may or may not achieve a coherent image. New projects will appear at Dock 6 and at the Charnel House as part of Five Funerals this spring.
